Our West
Texas Mule Deer hunts are gaining in popularity. And it’s
certainly easy to understand why, especially if you have
already experienced the tremendous West Texas Mule Deer
population!! These are Desert Mule Deer. Although you will
see some crosses (WT Buck breed with MD Doe), the majority of
our Mule Deer are pure strain.
We have
approximately 150,000 acres of some of the most picturesque
country that West Texas has to offer. This animal rich land is nestled at the foothills of the
Glass Mountains. It is truly teeming
with the prized Texas Mule Deer.
Regardless where you are in West Texas, the free-ranging/low fenced Mule Deer will average in score between 150
or better with an average spread of 22-25, although many
larger ones may be harvested. Our success rate has been an
incredible 100% since 1996! By game managing our deer we are
able to produce quality hunts year and year. That, in part,
has led to our success rate.
So you
too will have the opportunity to walk away with the West Texas
Mule Deer buck of your choice! We NEVER charge a trophy fee –
whether he scores 102 or 202 the price doesn’t change!
All of
our packages include meals, lodging, 4 full days of hunting,
semi-guided (1x1 is available at the rate of $100 per day per
hunter), care of game, mount preparation and delivery to our
local taxidermist. If you want your taxidermist to mount your
animal then you will need to make arrangements prior to your
departure to have it shipped to yourself if you are flying.
If you do
choose to fly in you may opt to have us pick you up at the
rate of $250 per vehicle per roundtrip. However, due to the
distance from the airport to our ranches that we do ask that
you arrive AND depart between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. If that is not possible then you will need to make plans to rent a
vehicle. A map to the ranch will be provided.
You need
to plan on arriving the day prior to your hunt and then depart
on the day after your hunt concludes. Non-hunters are welcome,
as are women and children, but this is based on space
availability. The price for non-hunters if $100 per day for
children under 12 and $150 per day for those over 12.
Non-hunters are also welcomed to accompany you on your hunt or
they may sit in there own blind, again based on availability.
Whether
you like to spot and stalk, sit in a blind or have someone
rattle horns, then we have the hunt for you! We at B&B
Outfitters and B&B Offshore Charters will always treat you as
Number 1. That is why we try our best to accommodate your
needs, whatever they are. Within reason, anyway!
