Javelina hunting in Texas is becoming more and more popular each year. While native to the Chihuahuan and Sonoran Deserts of southwestern Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, in the U.S. and then southward through Central America to northern Argentina, only Texas has liberal hunting laws regarding them. Although there is a state limit of 2 per hunter per year, your license can be purchased over the counter or over the internet. So you don’t have to put in for a Lottery or Draw.  Your Texas hunting license is the only thing you need to be able to harvest a Javie! Plus, we can hunt them from 30 minutes before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset 7 days a week!  It is permissible to hunt on Sundays in Texas!

 A breed of their own, with no known relatives, these cunning animals are quite challenging. Although they are small in body size (avg. 45 to 55 pounds), they are cagey and fast, they taste good and make awesome mounts! These animals were built for bow hunting, but small caliber rifles will also do the trick.  Also known as the "collared peccary" these hunts are offered on our West Texas Ranch, located approximately 30 southeast of Fort Stockton. This is also the ranch we do our Whitetail and Mule Deer Hunts on.

Nestled at the foothills of the Glass Mountains, in Pecos County, you will have the opportunity to spot and stalk these challenging animals. Or you may choose to hunt out of a tripod or stand.  For our bowhunters, we offer portable blinds to get you at ground level, giving you a eye level view! We proudly boast a 100% success rate and we always offer a 100% opportunity.  The rest is  up to you!

All you need to provide is your gear and guns.   We’ll take care of the rest. We provide all linens (bed and bath), food, lodging, etc.  All you need to do is get there!  There is housing available for up to 10 hunters. We have a cook on-site 24/7 so you won’t go hungry! If you choose to fly in, we will pick you up at the Midland International Airport, which is approx. 2 hours north of the ranch at the rate of $250.00 per vehicle per roundtrip. However, we do ask, that due to the distance from the airport, that you arrive and depart between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. If that is not possible, then you will need to make plans to rent a vehicle.
